    Hi

we built 2 live cams into a beehive in a tree that we all see them building a natural shaped hive.

you can watch the livestreams here:

Nice video. Wish I could look at my hives like this. It would save all kinds of inspection time and stings.

go for it :) we would love to see more bee streams

Nice, would agree with Millipede, would like to have that for my hives.

If I had one of these in my hive and hooked up to my tv....that is about all I'd be watching. Fascinating.  OK...where do I get a "bee" cam.

I've been researching them on the internet....have a company doing a test to see if their security camera will focus on a bee. Low budget ...

Anyone have a good suggestion....

I think a decent cam with IR LED lighting would work pretty good ad the bees would not be disturbed by the IR. I was thinking of hooking one up just to play with.

That was so cool!!  Looks like they spend a lot of time with their heads in the cells.

Thanks

Beautiful! I was watching at about 5:00 am local time and was interested to see bees busily at work in some areas, and seemingly resting (sleeping?) in others. It's true, I could sit and watch for a long time!
