I don't have bees yet, but I am getting some next year. I am spending this season, reading, learning, going to bee clubs, and trying to get help from anyone I can who is already doing beekeeping. I have a cousin nearby that has some, and have met a few very nice beekeepers from different forums that have told me I can come watch them work their bees! So fun. So, nice to meet you all, and I will be around! :)

Welcome to the forum, Teal.  I went to local bee club meetings for a year before I got any bees also.  Good luck to you along the way.

Welcome to the forum and bee keeping/caring. We all call ourselves bee keepers but in reality we are caring for the bees as best we can. In return the bees give us much from entertainment to honey for our consumption. Ask all the questions you like, there is sure to be a beek on here with answers to your questions.  -Mike
