Montgomery; Dogwood and snowball blooms have formed but still have a green color.

FYI all; The reason I i.d. Montgomery & N. Elmore co separate is they are two different growing zones.

Montgomery, AL: I saw blackberries in full bloom next to a brick wall. Also a fig tree budded with leaves about an inch long. (fig trees are Mediterranean in nature).

3/17 one Bradford pear in full bloom down on the creek. The ones on the By-pass in town were about to burst. Likely will be in full bloom before the week is out.

Henbit (that purple stuff) painting yards and roadsides purple.

Tree pollen is thick. Just ask the sinuses and I don't have allergies.

Most everything is behind this year as compared to the past couple years.

RHBee

Holly bushes blooming. Bees are all over them.

Rob, are you sure that's not a vine in a tree? Seems like I remember reading about a yellow blooming vine.

gary, it's a tree.  i'm sure it's some kind of ornamental.  those vines are in bloom too, though.

yellow clover blooms are moving east.  i saw sone around geneva, georgia yesterday.  my bees are working like there is a major flow on and blackberry isn't open enough for them to be working that.  you can smell nectar when you pop the tops and they are starting to draw out a little comb in a few hives.  blackberries should be wide open by the weekend and i think clover will be coming in by the following weekend.  i going to say it's officially started in middle georgia.

bleep willows have budded out.  It's still in the 40's though, and lots of snow!

N. Elmore county, Dogwoods have bloomed in the last couple of days.
