I'm located in SE GA along the Altamaha river. I decided to get out of the rat race of real estate and make my first love, beekeeping, my fulltime "job".

Welcome to the addiction, Nadine.  You can pick up a good deal of info here.  You may want to if you haven't join your local bee club.  When you have a question, just give it a post, someone will usually git you an answer.  Good luck
