robber flies

robber flies seem worse this year than years past. they taunt me with their high pitched buzzing letting me know they have caught another bee. any ideas on how to get rid of them ?

I do not worry about them. Your queens lay between  2 to 3000 eggs a day. That accounts for normal loss.
