Hello All

Im sort of new to bee keeping. My brother has been a keeper for about 6 years and has about 70 hives. He sold me all his 8 frame gear as he uses 10 framers.

Iv been madly sanding them back in preparation for September when I get 5 nucs iv ordered.

I work as a council gardener here and we have quite a few hives in trees and other odd areas that we keep an eye on. They seem really strong this year so hoping to catch swarms from them.  :-D

Looking forward to learning from those who have been at it for a while.

Welcome to the forum, Dave.  There are lots of threads and videos here, and when you have a question just give it a post, someone can usually get you an answer.

Lots of help available here, just choose your advice.  You will soon figure out who to listen to that does the beekeeping you have in mind.  Go to Michael Bush's web site and get a wealth of information that is soundly thought out.  It does not all suit me but it doesn't have to.   Welcome sir.
