Howdy!  I have been lurking for a while and this seems like a great forum.  I'm just getting started with bees and am looking forward to the fun.  I've been working on a KTBH and should be setting it up tomorrow.  Now i
i've got to find some bees...

Welcome to the forum Tex.
Starting with a TBH is a lot harder than a Langstroth.
Remember, when you handle a TBH bar with comb that you have to keep the comb vertical. If  you want to look at the other side, you want to roll the bar end to end to turn it upside down and then turn it around. The comb will break off (with 2000 upset bees looking for their attacker) if you turn it with the comb ending up being parallel to the ground. This is especially true with new wax.
Good luck and have fun. Keep on reading. There is tons to learn. That is what makes this hobby so additive.
