I just went to feed and had to look. I put foundationless frames in 50 hours ago and they are building the comb. I only looked on one, but that one had 2 spots the size of dollar bills. They looked great. Depending how they turn out, I think I will keep doing foundationless. And might just make my own frames from now on too. I have been spending 20. Per box of frames and foundation. At five boxes that's 1 c note per hive.

I went to alot of foundationless this year as well. I am very happy with the outcome. I will be only introducing fl frames this spring. Happy to hear your bees are pulling wax. Mine quit some time ago. Around here after the spring flow, its all but over for wax building unless you feed. I will stay on top of it next year to accumulate extra drawn frames by pulling and inserting. I see no downside so far. Some scream drone comb but I found the bees make the drone comb they need, when they dont need the drones, they backfill with honey. G :chop:

I know some guys that smash every drone they see, like drones are a drain on the hive.  Can't convince them their actions are the drain, since the bees want a certain percentage of drones and killing them causes them to make more to bring it back up to what the bees want.  Good luck with the foundationless, Rookie.  I have about half and half and am moving toward all foundationless unless I need some foundations to keep combs straight.
