We have searched for the 5 gallon honey heater plans that Sawdstmakr built several years ago from some plans that are on this site somewhere.  Does anyone know where these plans are located.
Thanks,
Jim

Are you sure the plans were on Beemaster and not another forum?
I found this- http://www.beesource.com/files/chsthetr.pdf
Quite difficult matters can be explained even to a slow-witted man, if only he has not already adopted a wrong opinion about them; but the simplest things cannot be made clear even to a very intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he already knows, and knows indubitably, the truth of the matter under consideration. -Leo Tolstoy

Tefer,
That is the one we were looking for. Thanks.
Jim,
If you want, we can build it here in the evenings.

For anyone else that sees this and plans to build it.
If you remove the thermostats, usually there are 2 of them, from an old hot water heater and install one in the middle of the box. Connect it in series with your light and it will allow you to set the temperature inside the heater to the exact temperature that you want it.
I have mine set to 104 F.
You do not even need the dimmer. With the thermostat, the dimmer just allows you to control how fast it comes up to temperature.

We have a refrigerator in the basement. I put a light bulb in the bottom and it wirks just fine. A40 watt light bulb will decrystallize the honey. We use the frig for garden produce in summer and fall.
