A rich man had lived a very exemplary and generous life and had helped a lot of people.  God decides to do him two favors, the first is to let him know that he is going to pass away in the next couple of days and the second is that he can bring one suitcase full of things with him.  The man fills a suitcase with gold bars.  When he passes away, he arrives at the gates of heaven with the suitcase.  Peter is very curious.  Peter informs him that no one has EVER been allowed to bring anything with them before and he's curious what the man chose to bring.  The guy opens the suitcase and an incredulous Peter says, "you could bring anything you want and you brought pavement!?!?!"
