The 12th is my birthday, and I'm planning on driving to AZ around that time....I might just make it

Mine is on the 9th. It will be great to see you again bud.

If something doesn't come up I will be there one or both days.  For the ones that haven't been there before, its really something, the people that have already know that.  Everyone is always welcomed.  Can't wait.   I am glad  I don't have near as far to go as most of you all, I am only about 75 miles south of Meridian.
Maybe the weather will be great for everyone.

When Are most of you going to be there?
Because it is a 10 hour drive, I was planning on driving to Bud7 on Friday and leaving on Monday.
Bud, is that OK?

Looks like quite a few new faces coming to Bud7 - the work camp leaders will love that! I've always enjoyed meeting people and hanging out often at Bud's house: with all the experts off with full- day projects and tons of hands-on stuff for those who have seen it but never done it, you will have a great experience seening how the finer points of beekeeping are done.

I don't think you'll find a finer weekend in your calendar year - the social events alone are worth coming for, and I hope Chef Bernie comes again, that man can whip up enough food for an army of hungry beekeeps, but also we have specialty pots of awesome food us Northerners never get to have.

I've been threatening to come down for three years now. Long drive from Pa. Old lady is on board.
If I come I'll likely have to bring my dog. Is this a dog friendly kind of event?

bud1

long as you arent planning on bringing yo dog in my house

Forget the dog in the house, you might not want me in the house. I'm paper trained, but sometimes have accidents. LOL

i am a new to this ,  and i hope to learn quite a bit

BeeMaster2

What can we bring to help out? Paper products, food for cooking, drinks?
I'm not a cook but I do plan on helping out for what ever is needed.
How about a sign up list so that we are not all bringing the same thing.

Jim, anything you bring will be appreciated for sure. Drinks are always a good choice. Sometimes our adventures lead us far away from buds house, so bring a cooler. We usually go out to eat on one night, Bud usually makes homemade sweet rolls for breakfasts, and some volunteer their cooking skills for one big meal. Any other time you're probably on your on. Keep in mind though you're around a lot of people that like to eat, so like Bud said, you will not go hungry. The time is getting closer and I cant wait to see everyone.
