Some bee pics and Qs

It has finally been very nice outside in mid-Ohio and bees were out over the weekend as so was my wife, taking some cool pics that I thought I would share.
The white flower is a snowdrop (galanthus) but does anybody know what the yellow one is?

I have noticed that bees are bringing in plenty of brownish-white/grayish-white pollen -- does anybody know what plant could that be from?[attachment=0][/attachment][attachment=1][/attachment]
