I'm looking at close to 40C (100+ F) here on Christmas Day

Intending to kick back in a pool with half a dozen kiddies - mine and my nieces & nephews with lots of water pistols, icy poles and cold drinks

How are you spending the day? Heat wave escape?

Lancej

We have 30 people this Christmas,  I have to work Christmas eve night and Christmas day night, don't think I get much sleep.

Milo

Well that's the wrong end of the stick!

I hosted the in laws chrissy a few years back, 30 odd people involved in that one and the only work was around the party and that was enough. To do that plus what you do for a living... No thanks

My wife will be on similar hours though. Strangely enough people want to eat bread every day.

G'day guys,  I will be spending Christmas in the Middle east region in a ship, not home until July.
My awesome wife has taken on our 14 hives with some help from the kids. To escape the heat we might go for a swim in the gulf somewhere.
Appreciate all the info everyone contributes on this forum.
Merry Christmas to all and may your honey flow in the new year.

Aaron.

35-37c predicted here for the next 4 days, might have to go up the farm and play with my bees. Only 30km but 4-500m higher in elevation so temp is usually 3-5c cooler.

Rurification

Happy Holidays, everyone!    We've got 35-37F predicted here.  I confess I'd love to find a package of warmer weather under the tree this year.

John,

Thanks for the support mate. Yes in the royal aussie navy over here trying to stop some drugs and guns getting to the bad guys. I think it's great how you  Yankees support the forces.
Ha ha yeah thongs are a necessity in Oz.
Merry Christmas to all beeks.

Well early Christmas morning here in Aus so merry Christmas to all.
Azzkell have a good one, have family that were and one still in the  navy, they all spent at least one Christmas in the Gulf onya.
Son has been RAEME for just under 12 months, actually home for 5 weeks over Christmas, we are making the most of it as expect it may be the last Christmas he spends at home for a good few years.

Milo

Santa brought a Springer Spaniel cross Jack Russell terrier pup for the family

Don't know how he went in the sleigh, imagine the poor elf on cleanup duty  :cheesy:

Merry this day to all!

Milo you want to hope it is more spaniel than jrt, I think the best way to describe jrts is unique lol.

Milo

I've always had JRTs and their crosses and yeah they can be mental. Had been looking around the rescues for a while now (been about eighteen months since the missus squashed one in the driveway) but nothing was coming up so when this popped up it was a done deal.
