Request for help (Re: a Doolittle Book)

By any chance, does anyone have a copy of the book: 'A Beekeeper's Guide to Rearing Queen Bees' ?  It's a book of 202 pages, containing extracts and articles by various authors.

One extract is of particular interest to me, and although all identifiers have been removed from it's pages, it was written in a style used by Doolittle.  In the text 'the Author' make reference to the periodical 'Gleanings In Bee Culture' in 1894 and again in 1903 - and it was by examining copies of these periodicals (by courtesy of the Internet Archive) that I was able to confirm that Doolittle was indeed the author of the article 'Queen-Rearing by Natural, Improvised and Scientific Means'.

BUT - there is something very odd about some of the references Doolittle makes within that article.  For example, on one page he makes reference to a comb diagram shown on page 320, and on another a reference to a photograph on page 336.

Now a Biliography for Gilbert M. Doolittle (1846-1918), shows Scientific Queen-Rearing, 1889 - of course, his most famous work - and a couple of smaller works and pamphlets.

'Scientific Queen-Rearing' is a book of some 184 pages (or thereabouts - it varies a little from edition to edition).  But there is NOTHING on record - as far as I can tell - of Doolittle ever writing a book of 300+ pages. Hence this request.

Doolittle's article does give enough information (I think/hope) for my immediate purposes, and so I'm not particularly motivated to buy a copy of 'A Beekeeper's Guide ...' - but it would be very interesting to learn from where Doolittle's article originated, as I WOULD be very motivated to buy that particular volume. 

I'm wondering if it might be a 'joint authorship' book, and so has crept under the Biliographical radar ?  But whatever story unfolds, it may well have been the last thing he ever wrote, and contains the very last words of wisdom from this extraordinary guy.

... is the best I can do. I enjoy Doolittle's writing, when I can understand it. He's worthy of study!

It was the habit of the Bee Periodicals of the day to number from page 1 in January and pick up in February at whatever page number they left off at the end of January, so the whole year numbered up from edition to edition.  The page number references may be to a different edition of a the magazine in some serialized articles that ran on for several months...
