Years ago a lot of us figured this would be the way they would do it.  They might not be able to get rid of the 2nd, but it's not much good without the ammo.  A SCOTUS that was as activist as the one that found a right to abortion, as an example, would also find that the right to ammo is implied in the 2nd, but I won't hold my breath.
