I enjoy festive holiday music, but bringing the store displays out in August this year was a bit much, lol.  I've been keeping the radio tuned to holiday music.

The Christmas push used to start the day after Thanksgiving and that was fine with me. Seeing Christmas goods on display for sale before Halloween is going overboard IMO.

The day after Thanksgiving is a good time and fine with me too. There are a couple radio stations in my area that usually begin the Christmas Songs then, and nothing else until after Christmas..
