Hi. I'm a new beekeeper in Philadelphia. Can anyone tell me the average times of major honey flows in my area?  Is there one on right now.
many widflowers seem to be in bloom.  Can I expect any more honey to harvest this year, or is harvesting over for the year? Thanks!

I can't specifically cite conditions in Pennsylvania but on a national basis goldenrod seems to signal the last big flow of the season.  It is occuring right now.  You may have another smaller one in the first part of october from asters.

Good Weather,

I'm in Berkeley Springs, about a hour west of you.  When do you see your flow normally start up in Smithsburg?
