Bees Disappeared

I had Three Hives I went to Alaska on the first of December I came back the 9th
two of my hives no bees disappeared maybe 100 or so in each hive plenty of honey pollen no dead bees in hive.My one surviveing hive very dark bees wild bees I got out of a bird house going like gang busters.This happend last year also.I think I'm
going to go get those wild bees out of that desk by Dodger Stadium they been there for 5-6 years small cell al the way .They just disappeared big trouble ahead.

Sounds like either Tracheal mites or "disappearing" disease.  No one seems quite sure what the cause of "disappearing" disease is.
