It isn't very creative... my username consists of my initials:
Ralph L Samples IV    :-D

Thebeebender

I saw a movie called the last air bender and when I had to choose a username here it seemed to fit

bee_charmer

I play LOTRO with my husband when we get a chance and I chose Beecharmer as my name on their.

hunter1

My handle is simple I hunt. Includes for swarms,  anything useful.
Glad to bee here

snowdog

According to chinese horoscopes I'm born on the day of the black dog. Black is the colour of water. Where i live (south Lapland, Sweden) the water is frozen right now, but sparkling like diamonds in the sun.
all human societies will be judged on how well they take care of the weak.

laurabat

So far as I am concerned, I just used a shorter version of my full name ;)

strobee

Hello everyone, Strobi-1 is my nickname at work, so when I got into beekeeping last year I figured that StrobBee Honey would be what I put on the label if I ever get lucky enough to collect any honey from my bees.  Looking forward to chatting with you guys!

beyondthesidewalks

Back in the early 1990s we used to get a magazine called Countryside and Small Stock Journal.  The editor of the magazine coined the phrase/description "beyondthesidewalks - offthegrid".  For years my wife and I planned and dreamed of living off the grid and beyond the sidewalks.  I used to use "beyondthesidewalksoffthegrid" as a handle.  It's kind of long and bulky but it worked.  For 7 years we did live off the grid but finally gave in and hooked up, using the grid as our backup generator.  Off the grid is no longer accurate but beyondthesidewalks still fits just fine.

delightfuld

Delightfuld it is partly my last name and part of my company.

SerenityApiaries

Serenity Apiaries is going to be my eventual business name once I get it up and running. Serenity simply because I have found that working with my bees can be such a calming activity and to sit and watch them fly about is sincerely serene that the name fit and stuck. Plus my wife liked the movie and TV show, Serenity and Firefly.

Check out West Coast Beekeepers on FB. A great place for Beekeepers along the west coast of America. All are welcome.

johngoes

I enjoy playing the ancient oriental game "Go" and "Go" is the first two letters of my last name. While running an anagram program with my name I found "john goes" (along with other words) and realized it fits. I am on the go all the time, I play go, and it's related to my last name. I've been fortunate (or blessed) that it's not taken in most places.

jlbthecook

I guess you could figure out what I do for a living... Sometimes I get called Chef, but that's usually the nicest thing..  Anyway my wife and I have a pretty extensive garden area, and have been complaining about the lack of honey bees in our area, so now we're going to do something about that.  I'm waiting on my first 2 nucs to arrive at the end of April.  Frames, boxes, bottoms, tops are all made.  Tomorrow I'll work on getting my hive stand set up in the yard near the blackberries..

samsungpizza

I was looking for a name to use and the brand name of my computer monitor was in front of my face...and I toss pizza for a living.  :-D

Papaw

I have 8 grandchildren.  I figured they will, sometime, be asked who's Honey they have. They will say it's "Papaw's" Honey.  So, that's why I have the name Papaw.  Plus, I took three of them to see the latest Winnie the Pooh movie. While watching the movie and seeing the Pooh Bear eat his "Hunny", I decided to call my Honey brand "Papaw's Hunny".  I am growing my honey farm from 3 hives to 8 hives this year and intend to grow it bigger.  it will be called Papaw's Hunny Farm.

Seanmhair

Seanmhair (pronounced something like Sean-whar) is Gaelic for grandmother, seems to fit me, I reckon!

Ebeth1812

I chose Ebeth bc my first name and 1812 bc it's a good number.  Dull I know.
