Alfred here again,
So I put out some frames for my bees to clean up left over from the switch to mediums and a bunch of other interlopers bees are coming to rob them out. I started thinking what if I could catch them and then combine them with my own hives?

Lacking any other way of doing this I thought that I would simply puth the frames in a deep and put a triangle escape on upsidedown to capture them. Then I would do the newspaper method to combine them with another hive. Will this work?

One additional issue is my top entrance hives and how to arrange the combine?

thanks to all again,
Alfred

Unless you've got thousands of bees in that super, it's not worth trying to catch them. Putting them on your hive without your bees being able to go in and keep the box clean could lead to other problems...wax moths, ants, etc.
