Can I put this super with freshly extracted frames back on a hive now?  First time to take honey and it went fairly well.  Used cardboard in the smoker after using pellets for a year...burned out twice.  Brushed bees off frame with no apparent problems...only brought 4 or 5 bees inside with me.  Extracting was more than I expected.  Never have done it and have never seen it done.  My econo model 2 frame extractor did OK.  Can I put this messy super back on?

 I would, Gary.
The bees will get the lickin's and have comb already made. I live in Tx where theres plant life until december. Someone from your region will have advice that you can be more sure of though.

you can but I usually put mine out in the open and let them clean for a couple days (nice days) and then put in garbage bags then in the freezer for 24 hours then store for next year unless we get a way above average fall flow...about this time of year I extract so I can cut hives down before fall.
THAT's ME TO THE LEFT JUST 5 MONTHS FROM NOW!!!!!!!!

I use mainly cardboard and have found out that once i start seeing ash blowing out when i puff the smoker, its time to reload, plus the volume of smoke diminshes. Load it up and a few quick puffs later you are good to go
