I knew ya'll would have a terrific time and the pictures prove it!!

Brendhan, that picture of you hugging the cast iron pig made me think of you and the ram....same pose.

All those pilings around the Ferry dock are from an old cannery that burnt down during the depression.  A childhood friend of mine's grandfather used to own 3 fish canneries here in Anacortes, but by the end of WWII they had all gone up in smoke.  The cannery at Ship's Harbor (Ferry dock) was the largest.

So now I'll set back and wait to see how many want to do it again next year, same location.

Okay,

Janel and I fly back today. We land about 1 am EST. I added more pictures to the link. Unfortunately they just got mixed in. So the order is kind of random.

Jody took us on a gorgeous trip of Lake Mowich. The area is spectacular. Thank you for putting up with Janel and I.

It has been a great trip. We took the underground tour of Seattle yesterday and had dinner at the Steelhead Dinner. The Black Velvet 4 layered chocolate cake is just incredible as was the whole dinner.

Janel and I cannot thank everyone enough for all you have done. Brian who held the big bash and let us crash at his place. Cindi and Ken who fed us way to much. Jody and Bruce who showed us a postcard of scenery in real life. Actually everyone did that and a combination of many other things my wife and I are just incredibly grateful for.

I have more pictures to post but I am trying to see if I can clear up the photos  when I get home so they are in a better order.

This has been an awesome adventure.

Sincerely,
Brendhan

Cindi

Brendhan, wow, that was an enormous amount of pictures. You are welcome for the time you both spent with us, it was wonderful to meet you both, a great time, you are a fine dude!!!  Too bad about you losing your camera in the water though, lucky you still got the pics off the memory card, yeah!!!  If we ever go to Florida, you guys are on our list to visit, along with Dallas.  Have a most wonderfully great and awesome day, Cindi

I picked up a cheapie camera when we got into Seattle so i have some more pictures to add. I will deal with that later on. Currently the wife and I are in SEA-TAC airport. The five hour flight to Atlanta is going to be grueling. I see a very full flight.
The four hour + flight from Houston to Seattle was worse than the 27 hour flight from LAX to Melbourne Australia.

Sincerely,
Brendhan

Okay the photos are little better organized. They aren't in order of the trip but they are grouped together much better. I have also added the photos from Seattle. They are at the front. Janel and I are home now. Janel is recovering from the cold. I don't know where she got that from.

So what I need to do now is arrange the snowbird melt a thon. So everyone from up north can come down and melt.

Brendhan, great pictures.  I know the trials of air travel, that's why I drive or walk.  Besides flying hurts my ears and gives me migraines.

Except for Cindi's and Jody's I've been most of the places you took pictures of...still nice to see it again.

Jody: Your black and white pigeon is a New Yorker, a type of roller that does summersaults while flying, that bird must look like it's flying while intoxicated. FWI.   Or FUI, flying under the influence.  How are the new babies adjusting?

Brian, the babies are doing fine.  They have discovered the joy of bathing in the sun! I put Earl's son out of the cage as they were ganging up on the young male. I never knew what Earl's girl was, but their babies were sure fun to watch.  They are very good at avoiding the merlin! Breathtaking to watch the fight for life! I haven't figured out how I can let the fliers out without Earl going too..he doesn't like being handicapped & thinks he can go anywhere.. :-x.   Jody

Wow, I was really surprised to see a picture of my parent's log house in the album!  I'm assuming Jody took you down to see me.  Unfortunately I was at work when Jody called.  If I'd known you were in town I would have called in sick!  lol

We called the morning after you went to work early. I left a message. Then we went to the lake you never called back. So we missed you. We tried to go by. But you had already left. Very cool cow in mom's porch by the way. :)

Brendhan

YAYS, hmmph...see Bruce?  Monkey punching does work!! hm-hm -hm -hm -hm!:-D

Is Janele feeling better?  Nothing worse than a summer cold.  All the traveling & excitement, different foods, no sleep stresses the immune system...also being exposed to all the "new" virus's in this part of the country.
It was so fun to have you guys here!  Woulda bee fun to see Sean's face when he noticed the pic of his Parents house! hee hee

Thanks, Janel is getting better. I was better by the time we flew back but she had to endure the cold on the flight home. She started feeling better this afternoon.

I thought Sean's reaction was great.  :-D
