 Great pics Johnny.
I doubt that the antibacterial properties in honey could sanitize that pink bucket now though :-D.

I don't think the bucket makes a very good veil.  First, you can't see very well, and then, well with no shirt and no connection to anything they'll fly right up in there won't them.  :)

enjoyed the pics, but wouldn't processing outside draw in every bee in the county?

....OUTSIDE????...I thought everybody did it outside!! I thought only a few people did it in their kitchens and basements and garages! Janelle would kill me if i started spinning that honey in the house!."Honey Dust" goes everywhere! Its invisible honey that sticks to your arms and you dont know it until you sit at the wifes computer and your arms stick to the desk!
Oh, Gosh YES!!!...Bees EVERYWHERE!!!!..WASPS TOO!!!
Didja notice Paul in his bee suit?...Me wearing only shorts?...Then later Pauls takes off his bee suit cuz I wasnt getting stung?........... I havent seen Paul all day long...heh heh heh......Anyways, I carried a bucket into the kitchen before bees got into it, and then decided I would have me a "Chelada"..Red beer, and I gave one to Paul,( I havent had a beer or drink in 3 months I bet!)..This honey gathering was reason to celebrate!
But, I guess the bees didnt like the "Chelada"......Paul went out there ahead of me and those bees TORE HIM UP! He went running and I had to stand there pouring honey from the tub into another bucket! The bees were getting me too, but I had my hands full and couldnt stop what i was doing! Paul whined for the next 4 hours and went home right after the redsox started...Havent seen him since
What happened I think, was that the wind changed and clouds came out!
Oh,...Paul kept running away and screaming for me to bring him his bee suit!!!...I was trying to bring it to him, but he kept running farther away! I finally stopped chasing him and told him to quit running cuz I was tired of chasing him. He must have run 200 feet!
Thinking back, I should have thrown him the pink bucket( but, of course, it was full of honey at this point!)
Thats funny Michael....The pink bucket is actually an ice cream machine bucket! and theres a perfect hole in the side about 4 inches from the rim(to let overflowing salt water out while making ice cream). This would make an excellent swarm trap!
On a positive note...The Chelada tasted GREAT, but I had to get it down sort of quick, before the bees got me some more...Didnt A-Fib after drinking it either!...But I did almost have a heart attack from laffing so hard!
Like that video that was posted awhile back......"I'm Covered in Bees!"
your friend, :)
