Hi i live in western ma. and have been thinking about getting bees for some time now.
i'm going to take the plunge this spring so I've started searching the web on the topic.
luckily i found the western mass beekeeping assoc. president lives 15 min. from my house and sells all the equipment, going there today to pick up hive bodies to start the event.
A bit about where i live, i have one nabore in sight of my house, 10 acers of land on a south facing slop that abuts many acers of unmowed fields that the state owns, i think bees will be happy here.
