Honey Prices back in 1898

According to a February 1898 issue of Bee Culture I could be getting around 8 cents a pound here in Pa. I bought this issue from some one on ebay a few years ago and just found it while cleaning up my office. I would like to buy equipment at the prices back then but selling honey would suck. You will have to look at the photos in full size to read the prices.

I rememeber CC Miller saying in his book, 50yrs, that he paid $7 for a "Box" of bees in a crate. this was I think 1865 or so.Yes its cool
