I am trying to get the wife more involved with bees. She thought she could handle marketing the products. With few hives to start, she thought we should offer something few if any other beekeeper offers the public. A honeybee petting zoo! There would be enough for everyone.  :-D

Sure, sounds like a great idea! Be sure to upgrade your liability insurance, for lawsuits and any other little nuicances that could pop up. :)
Each new day brings decisions,  these are  new branches on the tree of life.

Here little bee, oh how cute, ouch, ouch, get me the heck outta here, now!

Sory folks, petting zoo closed for the rest of today, will open tomorrow, please be sure to bring a friend, thanks for coming!

Just a little humor, really, its a great idea but you never know when they just might act up. Can still do it though, just make sure you have at least a veil for everyone who attends.

You could always tie a thread to drones and let the kids take them home as pets pinned to their shirts :-D

Settup an observation hive, in the shade of course. It could be the petting zoo without touching!

Nope, gotta have the real thing. Others have an observation hive. For the back to nature tree huggers I also have a lot of my property covered with Honey Locust they could hug.   :lau:
