I'm a novice hobby beekeeper with one hive here in the city. My bees made it through their first (long, snowy and cold) winter in good shape and I'm excited about my second season. I hope to add another hive next year.

Hey Greg
Where in S. Miliwaukee do you live?  In the late 70s & early 80's I worked at P&H on National Ave and live 1 block south.

Greg welcome to our forum, great you found us.  You are going to love to keep bees, and in the city there are so many flowers for the bees to forage on, they are going to love you for loving them.  This will be a place where you can learn, tell your stories, tales and experiences and just enjoy.  Stick around, we love new members.  Have that wonderful and most awesome day, life and health.  Cindi
There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service
