Stings dont really bother me and many time when i get them in the hands I dont even know it happened until a couple of days later when the inch starts.  That changed a couple of days ago when I took one on the tip of my little finger with the stinger going under the nail.   Holy sh!# did that hurt.  I now understand the bamboo under the nails thing.

How often does this happen?   I make a point of always wearing pants when I work bees

Worst I've had were to the face. Last week got zapped on the lower jaw, within hours had a jiggling double chin and bright red chest.

Had them crawl up the pants a few times, but I usually sacrifice a shin-shot rather than take one on the ....

I sat on a bee once.  Bees don't do well on crack.  Neither did I.

51 years old and never had a weight problem so when I got one a week ago under the chin for a couple of days knew what it was like to have a double chin.   It jiggled when i walked

For me it's the hands.  They swell up pretty good and are painful for a few days.  I remember my first sting - got it on the cheek, I went running into the house like a maniac only to find nothing but a little red mark.  Felt kind of foolish for making such a fuss.

Got one right under my eye last year, that was horrible. Whole face swelled up bad.

Was stung on my finger joint last week and that was nothing at all.

The worst I ever felt was with multiple stings to the lower legs. They caused so much swelling I had to sit in a recliner with my legs propped up for three days because it hurt to walk.
The next worst (sorry for the bad grammar) was one I took under the jawline. I looked like I had a goiter for several days.;)

I've found that the worst place to take a sting is anywhere on the wife or neighbor!!

Never have had it  but the worst would be in the breathing holes.

On the Lip for me, not around or beside the lip but almost in my mouth part of the lip.  I looked like I was trying to eat a hot dog sideways for days and boy did I want to cry when it happened! :-D
