2 Splits- wish me luck!

I have 2 hives that are doing great this year- already filled a super each with honey. which is pretty good for Wisconsin this time of the year. I did a walk away split with each one on Friday and am hoping for the best. One of these hives came from a split I did last July and am hoping for the same great result this year. I read all I can about how to do this- then cross my fingers, throw some salt over my shoulder, squeeze my lucky penny and cross my fingers and hope for the best. Wish me luck!

I wish all the luck on you. I got a visit from a commercial beek yesterday and his guy quit on him and he needs help doing splits because he just got 100 queen's as soon as the weather allows I'm going to learn how too do splits in a hurry :-D
