Got the bees in the mail 4 4lbs packs with queen late in the day Wednesday.  Put mine in first took the cork stopper off the queen package, set the queen in,  and proceeded to put the bees in the hive.  Left to go to a friends to install the second and realized that I had taken the cork off from the hole straight into the queen cage.
My question is it time to order a new queen or do you think two to three travel days from Ga. to Va. is enough time for her to be accepted?
Have been at the firehouse since then and not been able to check the hive.  Thanks, Steven

I did the same thing...panicked...checked 4 days later and they were in there laying with tons of eggs.  It should be fine.  Good luck!

odds are she will be fine if she has been with then a few days, don't do nothing now until you inspect in a few day and see what has happened, like said above it will probably be fine, you just need to inspect and see in a few days
