Sugar syrup in the comb

I recently shook one of my hives down, removing all brood and stores and putting the bees onto new foundation and feeding them with sugar syrup to keep them going until they were recovering from the shake down.

They now have the syrup stored in all the comb that they have drawn and the queen is laying and there is now some capped brood. I stopped feeding them 2 days ago but there is still a heap of syrup in the comb that they are yet to consume. There are field bees coming and going the whole time.

How I can encourage them to consume the syrup while they are bringing in nectar?

Will they choose the nectar over the syrup?

I wouldnt worry about it they will consume it when they need it
