Cell tower question

Like David, I'm an electrical engineer, who has worked with EMC issues. The distance between the transmitting antenna on the top of the typical tower and the hive is going to attenuate the output RF signal to a level so low that it shouldn't be a problem for the bees.  RF can cause damage, but in this case it's very very unlikely. However, the queen will get a 5 bar signal on her cell phone.

Just keep the girls out of the microwave and you'll be just fine. Enjoy your girls.
