honey in super

Question.......   I have a little honey in super but not capped will I have a full super to harvest this year?

The flow is over here, south of you, and also in northern Va., north of you. I doubt you will be getting much more honey where you are.
If it is your only super, the bees likely need it to live over the winter.

Well - not so fast. I have three frames in one super that are full but not yet capped. This is the very light, yellow honey that I get every year. July and August bring a darker honey - and more of it. So, hang in there - we may get more.

Do you grow any cotton or soybeans up your way? If yes, move your hive nearby and a strong hive can fill a super in no time.
