There are strange things done in the midnight sun by the men who moil for gold.  The Arctic trails have their secret tales that would make your blood run cold.  The Northern Lights have seen queer sights, but the queerest they ever did see, what the night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee.  Robert Service

Welcome to Beemaster! :)

Hi Jason...welcome!

I just returned from a trip to Iowa (does Primghar ring a bell?) and noticed a real lack of beeks there, especially with all the soy beans in production! I went to the Prairie heritage center and saw wonderful fields of "tall grass prairie" just full of flowers and wondered why no bees. The center said they would be willing to allow a beek to place hives there....might be a good out-yard if you're close.

Peace be yours,
Scott
"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag...We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language...And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Welcome Jason. In a previous life, I spent lots of time in Iowa, the Mt. Pleasant area. Ate some of the best pork chops and steaks.
