Hi.  I have 2 hives, both 1-deep, one of them is really weak and another one that seems to be doing okay.  I don't want to combine them together but I also don't want to spent money on packaged bees, is there a way to increse the amount of bees in my weak hive?  This week we'll be in the 70s weather wise and I'm not sure when the flow is suppose to start.  Trees are starting to bloom outside and I'm not sure if they are suppose to start to built up or is it still too early?
Thanks.
Thanks Art

To get more bees into the weaker hive just swap places with the two. the field bees will enter into the weak hive and stay.

They might just need a couple of weeks to get going good if things are just starting to bloom up your way.

those hot bees will have you steppin and a fetchin like your heads on fire and your keister is a catchin!!!

Bees will be bees and do as they please!

ivashka, as G3 mentioned, switch hive locations and you will instantly have an increase. Are you in a local bee club? You could ask a member for a few lbs of bees if they could spare it from a booming hive.
