Well I figured the girls would swarm and low and behold they did. On mothers day of all days what a gift for my wife.  My daughter wants to collect them herself and she is 9!!!  We are waiting for the camera to charge up so we can get the shots and I will post them up for ya.  This is so much fun they were covering the whole sky then they landed in the bush on the fence.  It might be a pain to get them off of the chainlink but we will see. They are in 2 clumps one small and one LONG  on the fence.

I hope it all falls in place for her.Wish her luck for me.
The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling.
And even more beautiful is knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!

You may want to put a blanket under them and shake them on to it. Then dump the bees into a hive body.

man they are pissey!!!!  I got stung in the armpit .... I was working iddee style.... and then when I suited up they hammered me 8 times in the hands and they STILL are on the fence!!! I'm a gonna let them cool off for the night.  I have a deep with drawn comb right under and next to the swarm.

These girls were MAD. I put the edge of the deep (in) the middle of the swarm and they sterted to go in and out of the hive I had to go to work and when I came home that night they had gone....  :-x  BUT... they were pissey so maybe it was a good thing I have no Idea where they went they might have gone back into the old hive seeing as it snowed for the 2 days after this.  Oh well maybe next time.
