hello from North Carolina

 picked up my first two nucs last Friday and looking forward to the new hobby.  i built my own hives last fall and let them weather over the winter in their proposed locations  i'm blessed with local knowledge and have several bee farms within a fifteen minute drive.  i also work with the former president of the local bee club and the state inspector is a local resident.
with all of these assets i could no longer find a reason not to give beekeeping a shot.  thanks for the forum.
