I crushed and strained some honeycomb; put the crushed comb out for the the bees, and they wont touch it.  Any ideas?  I've seen it take them a little while to find it, but this has been a few days.

How old was the comb/honey? Was it from a recently absconded hive?

Was there much honey in with the wax and how close to the hives did you place it?   Is it in a pail or on the ground?   Is the honey flow on strong in your area?

Pour a little honey on top of it and see what happens.

harvested combs from this spring, plenty of honey on the combs, and i started with it right next to the hive then moved it twenty feet away with no change.  theres a flow, but would they turn down honey?

They wont take syrup during the flow.   Freeze your honey for the fall.

Super all your hives. There is a strong flow on.

i bet you could fill some supers if they was on about now
never take the top off a hive on a day that you wouldn't want the roof taken off your house
