I know, I know, GreenBTree asks the goofiest questions...

But really, my eyes just aren't what they used to be (my arms aren't long enough) and I have a heck of a time spotting eggs.  I try wearing my reading glasses during inspections, but still have trouble.  Are they easier to spot against the black plastic foundation?  I use the technique of holding up the frame to let the sun shine down into the cells - still no joy.  Obviously my queens are laying lots of eggs, that brood is coming from somewhere... :-D

Oops, hit the wrong button and put this in the wrong spot - is there someway to move this post?  I meant it to go in general beekeeping.

There is definitely an advantage in using black foundation such as pierco. The eggs jump right out at ya!
