my hat's  off to you for your perseverance.   alot of people would have thrown in the towel until next year.
i'm sure the kids are happy too.

Glad to hear you got some more bees!

I drove a 3-hour round-trip both years to pick up my packages rather than have them shipped.  I enjoyed the drive in the country with all the wildflowers blooming and it was fun to visit a bee yard.   :-D

I'm really glad you found someone that helped:) It feels good to know there are good people out there too.

Anyone near Peoria want to sell a few bees or a queen?
Brian - Google maps shows Smithville located near Wayne City, a far distance from Peoria. Last weekend a friend and I picked up and moved two unwanted bee colonies in Herrin. The one in a log is sitting on a local farm near Ava, IL if you want it. Not too far a drive if you live near Wayne City. This is a strong colony that could be moved to a box. Let me know if you want it.

I've also heard very good comments regarding Long Lane Honeybees. Glad to have them in the area.

I would love more bees if they are still available.
