entrance size

Hello everyone,
I am getting so many calls for trap outs I have cut up some hive boxes to make four & three frame nuc but, I would like to get an idea what size entrance everyone recommends.

A one inch hole works fine.

3/4 inch hole + winecork = safe transport

Do you mean trap out, or are you talking swarm traps? They each use different size entrances.
