OK My wife and I went out to check on them yesterday(95 deg F WOW). When we opened up both hive I saw A LOT of uncapped honey cells(about 5 frames worth). Is this due to the heat or is this due to the fact that a lot of nectar producing plants are dying?

Kathyp

i'd guess it's because they hit a good pocket of nectar, brought in a lot, and have not yet capped it.

They will cap it when it is cured right.
