My Residence

This is my home took me 5 years to build it, it has 1400 square feet. I started it at age 55 and moved in at age 60. I built this house totally by myself from the ground up. I had two heart attacks at age 53 and quadruple by pass surgery then decided to build me a home.

So you had 2 heart attacks and just got bored or needed something to do? The house looks good. I built mine. Year and a half. I know what it's like. Well with out the heart problems. Just the head aches.

great job! looks fantastic.

I've always wanted to build my own house. I thought it would be so amazing.

Then I worked on a couple lawsuits where the builders made minor mistakes (roofing specialists, electrical specialists) that almost caved in or burned down the house. I decided if specialists make mistakes like that every now and then, a house built by yours truly is doomed.

Still a nice house though. Congrats.

Not hard Library full of good building info on all aspects of construction. Also helps to be a carpenter also have been building 30 years. Still building but slowing up some old age getting to me, guess I got about another 25 or so years left in me. Then I can call it quits.

My avatar is a shot of my kitchen and me and the granddaughter she is three, I have had her since birth, long sad story there unfortunate death in the family. But God has blessed me.

JP yes she calls me PaPa and I love her like you wouldn't believe. I didn't like her when she was born I was a very sad man and hurt for a long time. But she always hung on to me she goes about every where I go at three she is a very good woods lady knows more than most boys about hunting and animals knows how to identify different trees and animal sign. She is very good with my hunting dogs also, I have 12 of those. God has given me a sweet and beautiful girl yes she is my Angel.

I will make a bee lady out of her, she scared of nothing.

great house, and i know how it is we waited for kids then almost didnt have any.
i have a pace and d fib , made me change everthing.
i have 2 , 6 and 9 didnt know i could be so proud and mad at the same time daily.
but its fun to see them dance in the sworms.
