Spring would be nice. It looks like that here in the south also.

Yep, as soon as hunting season ends my wife jokes that I live in the basement building bee stuff.    She's right...  I hate idle time.  We've got a low of -3 predicted tonight so I'm keeping my nose to the grindstone in anticipation for better days.  I have to keep reminding myself, this too shall pass!!!
Ninja, is not in the dictionary.  Well played Ninja's, well played...

The faster the days go by would get Spring here sooner.  It would also get my beer out of the fermentor quicker too!  And then the next batch and then the one after that...   :cheer:

By the end of the month, we'll have gained about 45 minutes more daylight :)

Good.  Maybe that will help melt the snow.   Mail still has not run this week.   Schools will be closed tomorrow too.   Trash can is full.   House is messy.  Tired of soup and chili. May make it to 30 today, may not.
Ever watch Groundhog Day?

T Beek

Yeah, been hearing your getting some winter down your way, maybe that's why the "experts" are calling it climate change now instead of global warming.

Quite honestly, Groundhog Day means very little around here, just gives some people false hope :)

The kids up here would love to have off because of some snow (rarely happens) and ya know what, say what you will about the US Post Office, but they've never not delivered our mail in all kinds of bad weather for nearly 30 years now, maybe GA should send their carriers up here for training :-D.

I think it is the fact that they keep closing roads down here.

T Beek

Right, they close your roads, guess I forgot about that, although I've spent some time down in your neck of the woods and experienced a Southern snow storm or two first hand.

I'll bet a plow truck would be worth a bunch at a time like this, something to think about ;)

I will never complain again that we are having a cold winter this year. My gosh what an unbelievable situation over there.

Sorry dear people.

T Beek

Guess if I lived down there I'd have a snow plow sitting in the yard, even if you don't use but every ten years or so, it would more than cover the expense with just one major storm.  That picture looks like it could've been taken up here.  Stay warm.

5 degrees right now, with predicted high of 20 today!! hoo-ray a heat wave.

It's 3 here and we're suppose to hit 13 today. This weekend into next week it's going to cool down. Lows in the minus teens and high in the single digits. We're coming into historically the coldest two weeks of the year. I hope the bees are on a good frame right now.

I was just looking online for a snow plow attachment for my truck. Like you said, I may use it once every 10 years, but I can say the same for the 4-wheel drive option on my truck. It sure is handy when you need it.

T Beek

Come to the source VolunteerK9, there's folks around here who are building stoves and/or plows in their sheds and garages.  You won't find a less expensive unit than what can be offered in the snow belt.  And our summers are quite nice with some of the best fresh water fishing on the planet, might be worth a road trip ;)

My plow guy can make a thousand dollars a week during snow season with just 50 customers

It's Thursday 6:00 and the mail still has not run this week.   :(  No school again tomorrow and Monday is a holiday.   Should have gone on vacation last week.
