hope I made the right choice, I got the sundance bottom traps

My friend has a Sundance bottom trap and likes it. I bought a Sundance II and tried it toward the end of the season and am not sure if I acclimated them long enough to the top entrance before I "forced" them to go through the trap. I did catch some but the bees were very confused and started opening up propilized cracks in the hive for access. So I backed up and punted. I will try again in a couple months. Just my experience.

I have both and prefer the top, but then I have top entrances to start with, but the top keeps the pollen even cleaner and they are cheaper and simpler as well.

Where can I get the best price on the top trap you speak of?  I again found out I should have done search's before posting!

I would use the bottom trap.  There is nothing wrong with it.  Last I looked you could buy the Sundance II (the one that is a top trap) from Dadant as well as a few others.  Dadant even had an eight frame one, which I will probably buy some of soon.
