Did a cut out and took a few hits on my hands. Thought nothing of it as I'm past that point (except for the one on the end of my nose, that one crossed my eyes LOL). A couple of those hits caused me trouble later that evening, the ones directly above and below my wedding band. I thought for awhile there I was going to have to break out my bolt cutter and cut the ring off my finger. In the future I'm pulling the ring before I do a cut out.

not dumb.  you'd be surprised how many rings are cut off because people don't even remember they are wearing them when they are hurt.  any hand injury and you should remove rings.  good reminder!

Interesting, never thought of that. Although Im married I dont ware a wedding ring. I was working on the farm and got the ring caught on something I was working on and I thought I was going to loose my finger. After that day, no more ring.

I wore my wedding band for almost a whole week on the honey moon and haven't seen it since.
