What's in a tree?

A tree crew had to remove a giant oak this week and I got the call to the bees from a limb, yes this is just a limb.  I split the sucker right in two trying to get the queen.  Still not sure if I got her but thought the inside pics were cool.  I'm taking a section with comb intact to my class tomorrow.

That Qcell had a dent in the top.  Do you think that is a bad sign?  It's in the box.  Looked for a queen tonight but low light and could not find one.  Got the hive shut up and fed for a few days while moving to new site.  Oh, two other Q cells on another comb in box too.
