rookie mistake

So I was at the hive the other day and man the bee were just bring in the pollen. I seemed that every bee was comming back with legs full of pollen. So I though I will share in their pollen... So i engaged the trap and was going to go the next day an get the pollen.

Went the next day and no pollen at all..... then I looked around , the telescoping lid was set to have the entrance open at the top.... those smart little devils just figured out to use the upper entrance.....

Hopefully I wont do that again...
