Great photography.  Was that nuc honeybound??  Where was this fine high dollar queen laying?  I know the sunkist is supposed to not be swarmy, but that nuc was full to past the point of pushing it!!  I bought some sunkist queens to test and I see they are laying machines and are rapidly building up a colony, but the test will come this fall to see if they shut down and can winter here up north.  I love being a hobbyist and trying new things KNOWing that if it falls on it's butt, it won't affect my paycheck.  Bee keeping is such fun!!

Awesome pics,  wish you had made a utube presentation of that one.  However, I am not familiar with what you are referring to when you say "sunkist"  is that a commerical queen supplier?
