Any one have a Nuc to sell in northern Wisconsin ??

Glad to see your back and still doing bees Twin.

I would help you out but I think it would be too big a geographical change for the bees I have to make it that far north.

Im deff stayig with the bees. It the middle of winter here and i miss seeing my lil girls.

I have over a dozn swarm trapps. And im really hoping on getting a swarm. I have permission to set them on a cranberry marsh that will have 100-200 hives on it that are just single deeps and do not get checked.  So im hoping for some nice swarms..... well see

Im flat broke this yr also. so im building all my stuff.

I know him thats Chris handson. Really nice guy but no nucs from him. i may just end up getting a 3lb package.....

Not Northern WI, but WI.  Sullivan WI (southeast-ish)

Ryan Stern, young commercial guy overwintering his nucs in Arkansas, keeps them in WI spring/summer/fall.

Don't know his product, just met him at North American Beekeepers Conference a couple weeks ago.

I may buy a nuc from him and I think a friend of mine will get a couple.

Here is info from an email to me with answers to questions I asked about the nucs:

The nuc's I will have this year will be 5 frame, Italian stock, the queens will be fresh (bred off my own stock), I will probably use apiguard on them for the spring treatment.  As for hive bettle I can't promise anything but they are pretty darn clean tho.  They will either be in cardboard boxes or there will be a box return. I'm hopping they will be up here by mid April. And no frame exchange,  none of my frames are older then 2 years
